Infrastructures for partially digital citizens: Supporting informal welfare work in the digitized state
We are a Nordic research collaboration across Denmark, Sweden and Norway. We study how people are supported to access welfare services via digital infrastructures. Across these geographies we focus on social welfare provision, education and healthcare.
We are currently mapping the barriers that people meet when interacting with digitalized versions of welfare provision. Using ethnographic methods, we aim to inform the design of socio-technical solutions that can sustain more equitable and accessible versions of digital welfare.
The SOS project is funded by Nordforsk (project ID 0188-00007B).
